Contraindication Checklist

Some symptoms or conditions that would deem you unsuitable for treatment in the interest of your personal health safety and well being are listed below.

Facials
Super sensitive skin eg sunburnt
Extremely vascular skin
Acute inflammation or swelling in the face
Infectious skin disorder
Severe asthma or sinus disorder
Diabetic – must have letter from GP
Cancer – must have letter from GP
Recent facial injections, acidic peels, operations or surgery – would need a consultants approval
Medication and all allergies must be disclosed on the consultation form

Waxing
Diabetic – must have letter from GP
Skin disorders – must have letter from GP
Severe bruising
Circulatory problems such as varicose veins
Accetone Medication
Broken skin in treatment area, cuts, sores, warts, moles or abnormal lumps and bumps

Massage, Back Therapy, Massage and Facial Combinations, and Hot Stone Massage
Pregnancy before 12 weeks and after 38 weeks.
Diabetic – must have letter from GP
Cancer – must have letter from GP
Asthma- asthma pump would need to be present
Epilepsy-must have letter from GP
All medication must be disclosed
Heart conditions – must have letter from GP
Phlebitis Or Thrombosis – must have letter from GP
All allergies must be disclosd

Manicures and Pedicures
Nail Infections
Skin disorders affecting the hands and the feet
Broken sore skin in treatment area
Extremely weak and soft nails
Extremely badly bitten nails
Nails which bear damage from Acrylic nails

Eye Tinting and Perming
All eye tinting and perming treatments require a patch test 24hours before treatment.
